  Impact of the tumor microenvironment on the treatment of colorectal cancer / The continuum architecture dynamics of vesicle tethering (in exocytosis)

  Us convidem al pròxim Hospital del Mar Research Institute /MELIS UPF Seminar que tindrà lloc el dimarts 17/02/2026 a les 12:00h a la Sala Ramón y Cajal. El seminari constarà de dues xerrades, una a càrrec de Jordi Badia, PhD, investigador del Grup de recerca translacional en microentorn tumoral de l'Hospital del Mar Research Institute (HMRIB), amb el títol "Impact of the tumor microenvironment on the treatment of colorectal cancer" i l'altra a càrrec d'Oriol Gallego, PhD, Professor agregat, Grup de Recerca Biophysics in Cell Biology, Departament de Medicina i Ciències de la Vida, UPF, amb el títol "The continuum architecture dynamics of vesicle tethering (in exocytosis)".

  MAR TECH TRANSFER ACADEMY: When your best Cell paper does not drive enthusiastic investment: the solution-looking-for-a-problem all time classic

  The Technology Transfer and Translation Unit of the HMRIB is launching the MAR Tech Transfer Academy, a program designed to provide research and clinical staff with practical case studies delivered by professionals from the innovation ecosystem who have firsthand experience in technology transfer. The goal is to equip participants with the tools needed to turn research discoveries into tangible solutions for society, helping to bring research from the laboratory to the market. Through interactive sessions with industry experts and research-based entrepreneurs, we will explore key aspects of technology transfer, intellectual property, clinical development, and commercialization strategies, as well as the challenges encountered and how they were addressed.
