Us convidem a la propera PRBB/CRG Conference que tindrà lloc el pròxim dilluns 29 de setembre a les 12.00 h a la Sala Marie Curie, organitzada per Mar Albà, directora del Programa de recerca en Informàtica Biomèdica. El títol serà "Precision Mechanobiology: Deep Learning-Driven Discovery of Cytoskeletal Dysregulation in Kidney Disease" i anirà a càrrec de Evren U. Azeloglu, Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. New York.

We invite you to the upcoming PRBB/CRG Conference, which will take place next Monday, September 29, at 12:00 p.m. in the Marie Curie Room, hosted by Mar Albà, director of the Biomedical Informatics Program. The talk will be entitled "Precision Mechanobiology: Deep Learning-Driven Discovery of Cytoskeletal Dysregulation in Kidney Disease" and will be delivered by Evren U. Azeloglu, Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, New York.

Bio

Dr. Azeloglu is an Associate Professor of Medicine in the Division of Nephrology with a secondary appointment in the Department of Pharmacological Sciences. He received his B.E. in Mechanical Engineering and M.S. in Biomedical Engineering from State University of New York at Stony Brook. He completed his Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from Columbia University in the City of New York and a postdoctoral fellowship in Department of Pharmacology and Systems Therapeutics in Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. He was awarded the Yuen-huo Hung & Chao-chin Huang Award from Columbia University, Howard Hughes Medical Institute fellowship from the Life Science Research Foundation, Career Development Award from the American Society of Nephrology, and i3 Innovation Award from Mount Sinai. His research focuses on cell and tissue biomechanics, mechanobiological signaling, systems pharmacology and tissue engineering.
