Project title:

Functional imaging and next-generation sequencing in quadriceps of patients with respiratory sarcopenia: New therapeutic targets towards personalized medicine (FINGERS Sarcopenia)

Research group / Service:

Muscle wasting and cachexia in chronic respiratory diseases and lung cancer research group

Main responsibilities:

Donate support to the experimental activities of the research group. Participate in biomedical research projects with a clear translational focus. Apply basic and practical knowledge of working in a research laboratory. Use micropipettes. Perform dilution calculations and prepare solutions. Apply basic laboratory procedures. Participate in the application of techniques such as immunohistochemistry, Western blot, and PCR. Collaborate with researchers of different profiles.

What do we need?

Higher Degree Vocational Training in Clinical and Biomedical Laboratory Experience in solution preparation, reagent handling, PCR techniques, quality control. Level B2 of English No more than 3 years must have elapsed since obtaining the most recent qualification. Must not have previously entered into an employment contract for the acquisition of professional experience.
