Project title:

Functional imaging and next-generation sequencing in quadriceps of patients with respiratory sarcopenia: New therapeutic targets towards personalized medicine (FINGERS Sarcopenia)

Main responsibilities:

Perform nursing procedures related to research studies. Carry out the extraction of biological samples, as well as their processing, storage, and preparation for shipment. Ensure the correct identification, traceability, and management of samples according to established protocols. Participate in the coordination, management, and follow-up of patients participating in the studies. Collaborate in the planning and organization of participant visits and in the follow-up of study procedures. Manage and update the databases associated with the studies. Collaborate with the research and care team in the development of clinical and observational studies. Ensure compliance with study protocols, standardized working procedures, and quality and safety standards.

What do we need?

Degree in Nursing (Professional registration) Experience in coordination and/or management of clinical trials and observational studies. Experience in extraction, processing, and handling of biological samples. Previous experience as a care nurse. High level of English, especially in the scientific and healthcare fields. Knowledge: Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
