Novel antitumor therapies based on specific antibodies against HLA complexes presenting peptides derived from the p16 cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitor (PI25/00597)

Research group / Service:

Immune redirection research group

Description:

The selected person will join the Immune redirection research group (Cancer research program).

Task:

Cell cultures (primary cell lines and cell lines), animal experimentation (transgenic models, PDX, etc.), cytotoxicity assays, gene expression assays (RNA isolation, qPCR, WB, etc.), immunological assays and histology assays.

Formation:

A Master's Degree in Translational Biomedical Research. Animal experimentation certificate.

Experience:

Previous experience in the tasks indicated in the job advertisement is essential.

Knowledge:

Knowledge of laboratory techniques is essential: cell culture, Western blot and immunocytochemistry, PCR, flow cytometry, molecular biology techniques and other techniques to study cellular effects (viability, proliferation, apoptosis, migration, invasion and DNA damage). A fluent level of English and computer skills at user level in Microsoft Office and Internet are required.

Additional information:

A person with the ability to work in a team is sought. Previous experience in breast cancer immunology projects is essential.This subsidy may be co-financed by the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund, 'One way of making Europe'. This engagement is contingent upon the approval of a reallocation of budget lines within the grant.
