Project title:

PDI - IMPaCT Digital Platform for the capture, integration and modeling of biomedical data associated with the IMPaCT-PMP Cohort and projects (PMP24/00024)

Description:

The selected person will join the Integrative biomedical informatics research group (Biomedical informatics research program).

Task:

Integration, curation, transformation and harmonisation of biomedical data from various sources. Development and maintenance of pipelines for the analysis of genomic, clinical and omics data. Participation in data lifecycle management and in the implementation of interoperability and standardisation procedures. Preparation of technical documentation, protocols, reports, presentations and scientific results. Coordination with the teams involved and application of quality, traceability and reproducibility criteria.

Formation:

Master’s degree in Bioinformatics

Experience:

Research experience in hospital settings and biomedical research centres, participation in federated environment projects for personalised medicine within the Health Data Space. Large-scale processing and analysis of health data, including biomedical data, and use of clinical standards

Knowledge:

A double degree in Economics and Statistics will be especially valued. Programming skills in Python and R, and experience with Linux operating systems. Advanced knowledge of applied statistics, machine learning and data processing. Knowledge of OMOP CDM (Observational Medical Outcomes Partnership Common Data Model). High level of Catalan, Spanish and English. Ability to work with large volumes of information. Ability to document procedures and generate reproducible analyses. Ability to work as part of a team and in multidisciplinary environments. Proactive, organised person with communication skills.
