Project title:

Improving cognitive performance in Down syndrome patients (899986)

Description:

The selected person will join the Integrative pharmacology and systems neuroscience research group (Neurosciences research program).

Task:

The selected person will join the research team to support the activities of cognitive assessment and monitoring of participants within the research project. Their functions will include managing the recruitment of participants and the cognitive and functional assessment process of individuals with intellectual disabilities, following the established protocols in accordance with good clinical practices (GCP). Among their responsibilities will be the administration, scoring, and interpretation of neuropsychological tests, data management, and collaboration in the analysis and exploitation of results. They will also participate in the preparation of materials, documentation, and reports of the study, as well as in coordination with other members of the clinical and research team.

Formation:

Degree in Psychology. Holding a Master's in Clinical Neuropsychology (or equivalent official training) will be valued.

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of experience assessing cognitive function, ideally in similar populations.

Knowledge:

Battery management and standard neuropsychological tests. Ability to design and conduct group and individual sessions for cognitive stimulation and training. Catalan, Spanish, and English (minimum B2 level in oral and written).
