Effect of glucocorticoid administration on the blood steroid profile – Project Number 252D06RV

Description:

The selected person will join the Doping control research group (Neurosciences research program).

Task:

Analysis of samples obtained after the administration of glucocorticoids to healthy volunteers via different administration routes. Determination of the markers included in the steroid profile, specifically testosterone and androstenedione, in serum and plasma samples collected after the administration of glucocorticoids. Evaluation of the impact of this administration on these markers and study of the correlation of concentrations in different biological matrices.

Formation:

Degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biochemistry or similar or equivalent qualification.

Experience:

Minimum experience of 1 year: work in a doping control laboratory accredited by the World Anti-Doping Agency, - development and validation of analytical methods for the determination of drugs and metabolites by chromatography coupled with mass spectrometry. - Experience in automation of sample preparation procedures.

Knowledge:

Knowledge of ISO17025 regulation. Advanced level of English and computer tools.

Additional information:

Possession of a Master's degree in Analytical Chemistry or similar will be valued.
