The selected person will join the Girona Heart Registry (REGICOR) research group (Epidemiology and public health research program).
- Task:

Advisory support in study design, statistical data management and analysis, and preparation of results reports. Management and handling of large-scale clinical-epidemiological databases on servers.
- Formation:
-
High school diploma or advanced vocational training in the technological/computer science field.
- Experience:
-
Previous experience in large database management, clinical data cleaning and maintenance, artificial intelligence, neural networks in the management of omic data will be valued. Experience in research groups focused on the analysis of large clinical databases will be positively valued. Candidates with scientific publications will be highly valued.
- Knowledge:

És imprescindible el coneixement de llenguatges com R, Bash, Python i SQL. També es valorarà el coneixement de High Performance Computing (HPC), dockers, Git i GitHub. És necessari tenir nivell avançat d'anglès.

The REGICOR group (Registre Gironí del Cor - www.regicor.cat) is a consolidated and multidisciplinary research group based at the Hospital del Mar Research Institute (IMIM), within the Barcelona Biomedical Research Park (PRBB). It has been working for decades in the field of cardiovascular epidemiology and personalized medicine, with its own well-characterized cohort of the general population.
The group also coordinates the CORDELIA project (www.cordeliaproject.net), which integrates data from 200,000 individuals from 35 Spanish cohorts. Some of these cohorts include detailed information on omics (genetics), disease diagnosis, clinical data, drug use and lifestyle.
