Research group on cellular mechanisms in physiological and pathological behavior

Cell-type mechanisms in normal and pathological behavior research group

Description:

The selected person will join the Cell-type mechanisms in normal and pathological behavior research group (Neurosciences research program).

Task:

To establish specific mechanical frameworks of the type of cell using mouse models to determine complex physiological or pathological behavioral responses. To delve into the dissection of the detailed molecular, cellular, and behavioral mechanisms that can explain complex behaviors, such as advanced cognitive functions and complex social interactions.

Formation:

Doctorate in Biomedicine. Title of animal experimentation.

Experience:

Experience in animal experimentation with mice. Experience in programming (Python). Experience in behavioral laboratory techniques (cognitive tasks) and molecular techniques (western blot, RT-PCR, immunohistochemistry, genotyping, etc.). Experience in in vivo calcium recordings in mice will be valued. Experience in mouse models of Alzheimer’s disease. Knowledge (languages, computer skills, specific laboratory techniques, etc.).

Knowledge:

High level of English.
