The selected person will join the Evolutionary genomics research group (Biomedical informatics research program).
- Task:

Implementation of RNA-Seq and Ribo-Seq protocols to study the transcriptome and translatome of different cancer cell lines.
Computational analyses of RNA-Seq and Ribo-Seq data.
Preparation of cell extracts suitable for the study of the proteome and/or the immunopeptidome.
Grow cells, prepare cell line stocks and maintain accurate laboratory records.
- Formation:
-
Bachelor Clinical Analyses, Molecular Biology or related. Valorable in Master in Clinical Analyses, Molecular Biology or related.
- Experience:
-
Hands-on experience of basic molecular laboratory techniques including RNA extraction, preparation of libraries for RNA sequencing, PRC, gel electrophoresis.
Previous experience with Ribo-Seq protocols in cell lines.
Experience with the statistical package R to perform statistical tests and plots.
- Knowledge:
-
Knowledge of molecular biology techniques including Ribo-Seq.
Familiarity with next-generation sequencing workflows.
Knowledge of computational pipelines to quantify gene expression from RNA-Seq data.
Good command of English language in a scientific setting.
