Description:

The selected person will join the Systems neurology and neurotherapeutics group (Neurosciences research program).

Task:

Comprehensive clinical care in the field of neurology, with a special focus on neuromuscular diseases, including care for patients in specialised outpatient clinics, assessment of hospitalised patients and response to hospital consultations. Participation in the day hospital's care activities, with monitoring and administration of immunomodulatory treatments, and integration into the multidisciplinary team caring for motor neuron disease. Preparation of clinical reports, coordination with other specialities and participation in clinical, interdisciplinary and interdepartmental sessions, contributing to comprehensive and continuous care for neurological patients.

Formation:

Bachelor's degree in Medicine and Surgery. Specialising in Neurology.

Experience:

Experience in managing patients with motor neurone disease and other neuromuscular disorders.

Knowledge:

Training or interest in advanced therapies (immunotherapies, RNA-based therapies, antisense oligonucleotides).

Additional information:

The contract will be awarded by the Barcelona Health Park Consortium.
