Description:

The selected person will join the Hospital research Group (Hospital Program).

Task:

We are looking for a professional with training in Data Science, Machine Learning, and MLOps to join the digital health innovation team at our hospital. The selected candidate will participate in the entire model lifecycle: from data processing and analysis, to the development and validation of machine learning models, and their safe deployment in real clinical environments. You will work on AI projects applied to healthcare, including federated learning environments, contributing to the production deployment of models that support hospital management and clinical decision-making. Main responsibilities: • Processing, cleaning, and exploratory analysis of clinical and operational data. • Development, training, and validation of machine learning models. • Model evaluation (metrics, cross-validation, calibration, robustness). • Packaging and deployment of models in production environments. • Containerization using Docker and management of reproducible environments. • Management of GPU computing environments (NVIDIA). • Monitoring model performance, drift, and quality in production. • Collaboration with clinical and IT teams on integration with hospital systems (PACS, HL7/FHIR).

Formation:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, and/or a related field. A master’s degree related to AI, data, or DevOps will be considered an asset.

Experience:

• Proven experience in the tasks described. • Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or related fields. • Experience in clinical environments or with healthcare data. • Knowledge of federated learning or distributed systems. • Experience with model versioning and pipeline tools (MLflow, DVC, or similar).

Knowledge:

• Proficiency in Python and Linux. • Docker. • MLOps. • High level of English.

Additional information:

If the candidate holds a master’s degree, the indicated salary may be higher, depending on the proven experience relevant to the position.
