Description:
The selected person will join the Inmunoterapia del Cáncer Research Group (Cancer research program).
Task:
The selected person will carry out experimental techniques in the field of genetic material study and molecular biology, techniques for manipulating cell cultures, cellular modification through gene therapy, and techniques for localization and quantification of protein molecules (Western Blot and immunohistochemistry). They will handle animals and maintain the colony of transgenic and knockout mice, and will carry out molecular biology techniques, cell cultures, and embryology related to the mentioned project.
Formation:
CFGS Clinical and Biomedical Laboratory. It is essential to have the training course for personnel conducting research using experimental animals.
Experience:
It is essential to have experience in the tasks previously described.
Knowledge:
It is essential to have experience in the tasks previously described. Specifically, experience is required in the maintenance and care of genetically modified mouse colonies, in handling mice (intraperitoneal and intravenous injection, blood extraction, necropsies), in handling and dissecting mouse embryos, dissecting the AGM region, fetal liver, and yolk sac, and in molecular biology techniques (RNA and DNA purification, RT-PCR, DNA cloning, sequencing, and luciferase assays). A medium level of English and knowledge of Office, internet, and email at the user level are required.
Additional information:
The demonstrated ability to work in research teams will be valued, primarily in translational research projects in oncology. It is essential to have published an article in indexed international journals.This subsidy may be co-financed by the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund, 'One way of making Europe'.
