Project title:

17506 - IgD interaction with monocytes and its role in tolerance

Research group / Service:

B cell biology research group

Description:

The selected person will join the B cell biology research group (Translational Clinical Research Program).

Task:

Design large-scale experiments in collaboration with other group members. Perform computational data analysis and interpret large-scale data sets. Develop computational strategies to address specific biological questions.

Formation:

Degree in Biotechnology or similar.

Experience:

Demonstrated experience in computational biology, immunology, bioinformatics systems biology or related fields. Experience in immunoglobulin/T cell receptor repertoire analysis and single cell RNA sequence analysis.

Knowledge:

Statistical knowledge, experience with omic datasets (e.g., RNAseq, transcriptome analysis, NGS technologies, microbiome, metabolome) and proficiency in standard analytical platforms (e.g., R, Matlab, OMIQ, Cytobank). Programming: R (advanced), Python (intermediate), SQL (basic), HTML (basic), PHP (basic). Analysis of qPCR and sequencing data. Computational genomics analysis. Machine learning techniques (RStudio, Python). Database creation, management and analysis (RStudio, MySQL). - Fluency in English and scientific writing skills essential.

High level of English. This contract is subject to the awarding of the project.
