Description:

The selected person will join the Neurovascular research (Neurosciences research program).

Task:

Experimental and analytical tasks of the ongoing projects, including the management and manipulation of biobank samples (blood, DNA, serum, plasma, etc.), the maintenance and updating of the gene and serum database, and the performance of DNA, RNA and miRNA extractions, as well as DNA, RNA and miRNA extractions and serotyping.), the maintenance and updating of the database of the gene and serum libraries, and the performance of DNA, RNA and miRNA extractions and basic laboratory techniques (ELISA, Western-Blot, among others). He/she will also participate in the analysis of genetic and epigenetic data (GWAS, EWAS, miRNAs and gene expression), collaborate with bioinformaticians, statisticians, biologists and clinicians, and contribute to the writing and publication of scientific articles, as well as to the internal sessions of the group and the Neurology Service. In addition, he/she will be responsible for the group's studies and experimental studies with cell cultures.

Formation:

PhD in genetics and genetics or equivalent, specializing in human genetics.

Experience:

Previous experience in the tasks described above is required.

Knowledge:

It is essential to have a fluent level of English and computer skills at the user level of Office and Internet.
