Peptide Biodiversity: Advancing Human Health Through Nature's Pharmacological Treasures (PCI2025-163165)

Description:

The selected person will join the GPCR Drug Discovery research group (Biomedical informatics research program).

Task:

Project manager for implementing the following tasks: 1. Computational analysis of GPCR conformational dynamics. 2. Identification of druggable and allosteric receptor sites. 3. Integration of GPCR dynamics into structure-based drug design.

Formation:

PhD in Biomedicine.

Experience:

Proven expertise in molecular dynamics simulations and computational modeling of membrane proteins, preferably GPCRs. Strong background in structure-based drug design, ligand docking, and binding site characterization. Experience in managing multidisciplinary research projects and coordinating computational and experimental collaborations.

Knowledge:

In-depth understanding of GPCR structure, signaling mechanisms, and conformational dynamics. Solid knowledge of molecular modeling tools, simulation methodologies, and data analysis workflows. Familiarity with AI-driven or machine-learning approaches applied to structural biology and drug discovery.
