Description:
The selected person will join the Clinical and risk factors for neurodegenerative diseases research group (Neurosciences research program).
Task:
Performance of basic biochemistry techniques and analysis, processing of biological samples and data entry. Support in laboratory maintenance, commands and training of other members. Participation in meetings and training in advanced biochemical techniques.
Formation:
Degree in Biology and Master's Degree in Biological Anthropology, specialization in forensic analysis.
Experience:
Previous experience in biochemistry laboratories or similar. - Experience with different techniques including ELISA, western blot, immunoprecipitation and other biochemical protein techniques. - Experience in the management of human samples (plasma, serum, CSF). - Experience in laboratory management (safety, maintenance and other organizational functions).
Knowledge:
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills. - Proactive, autonomous and decisive person with the ability to work as part of a team. - Excellent organizational skills. - Catalan or Spanish (mother tongue) and English.
