Project title:

Beclomethasone: oral, inhaled and intranasal studies to evaluate the minimum reporting level and the washout period after oral intake. (22C06RV)

Research group / Service:

Doping control research group

Description:

The selected person will join the Doping control research group (Neurosciences research program).

Task:

Optimization of analytical methods for the quantification of glucocorticoids (e.g., beclometasone) and their metabolites in urine, plasma, and dried blood spot samples. Analysis of samples collected after the administration of glucocorticoids to healthy volunteers via different routes of administration.

Formation:

Degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biochemistry or similar or equivalent degree.

Experience:

Minimum experience of 1 YEAR: -work in an anti-doping laboratory accredited by the World Anti-Doping Agency, - development and validation of analytical methods for the determination of pharmaceuticals and metabolites by coupled chromatography and mass spectrometry. Experience in automation of sample preparation procedures. Experience in team management.

Knowledge:

Coneixement normativa ISO17025. Nivell avançat d'anglès i eines informàtiques.

Additional information:

Possession of a Master's degree in Analytical Chemistry or similar would be an asset.
