Inhibitory circuit motifs in the hippocampus during experimental and artificial learning (PID2022-143259OA-I00)

Description:

The selected person will join the Neural computing laboratory group (Neurosciences research program).

Task:

Design and execution of the project: Formulation of relevant scientific questions and development of experimental strategies for their resolution. Optimization of the experimental design: Planning and execution of experiments, as well as rigorous analysis and interpretation of data to obtain solid conclusions. Coordination and mentoring: Supervision and support to students and researchers in training, promoting the development of scientific and technical skills. Management and collaboration: Facilitation of a cooperative work environment, coordination of tasks within the research group and interaction with other teams to enhance knowledge transfer.

Formation:

PhD in neuroscience, biomedicine or related disciplines. To be in possession of a certificate of animal experimentation.

Experience:

Previous experience in experimental design and analysis of scientific data. Ability to work autonomously and in a team. Mentoring skills

Knowledge:

Good level of scientific communication in English.

Additional information:
