Description:

The selected person will join the MARBiobanc (Scientific and technical support Program).

Task:

Microtomy techniques, cell separation, cell cryopreservation, manual and automatic nucleic acid extraction. Nucleic acid quantification by spectrophotometry and fluorimetry and DNA quality control by PCR technique. Inventory of samples in freezers or block archives. Support to biobank coordination.

Formation:

Higher Grade technician in pathological anatomy and cytodiagnostics or higher grade technician in laboratory and clinical analysis or similar. Basic knowledge in molecular biology will be valued.

Experience:

Minimum experience of one year in microtomy and nucleic acid extraction techniques.

Knowledge:

Intermediate knowledge of microsoft office, knowledge of ISO standards, and good laboratory practice. High level in Catalan and spanish Good level in english

Additional information:

Autonomy in the laboratory and proactivity are required.
