The selected person will join the Health services research group (Epidemiology and public health research program).
- Task:
-
The selected candidate will coordinate and manage the recruitment and follow-up of participants in the study "Implementation of PROMs and PREMs in Routine Clinical Care: Evaluating Their Requirements and Impact." To this end, they will perform the following tasks:
a) Design the surveys in RedCap, thereby understanding the complexity of the measures reported by participants.
b) Resolve potential issues that may arise when collecting data in daily practice using the various innovative platforms, including ethical and data protection assessment issues.
c) Manage the various databases to achieve the project's evaluation objectives, including those related to sociodemographic variables and the baseline clinical variables recommended by ICHOM.
d) Coordinate participant enrolment for each of the four units, especially the bariatric surgery unit.
e) Coordinate data quality control and conduct analyses.
- Formation:

University degree in Nutrition or another health science qualification that guarantees the ability to manage the aforementioned tasks, especially in the bariatric surgery unit. Postgraduate courses or master's degrees in public health or epidemiology will be especially considered.
- Experience:

Experience in working with patients, especially in the areas of obesity or endocrinology, will be valued.
- Knowledge:
-
Knowledge in epidemiology, statistics and the administration and application of patient-reported outcomes will be valued mainly.

We are looking for a person with organizational capacity, initiative and perseverance, who has the skills to work in multidisciplinary teams and communication skills. This subsidy may be co-financed by the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund, 'One way of making Europe'. The cost of the contract is subsidized by the Carlos III Health Institute.
