Lung cancer research line

Molecular cancer therapeutics research group

Description:

The selected person will join the Molecular cancer therapeutics research group (Cancer research program).

Task:

In vitro cell culture and molecular biology experiments. Cell line maintenance and viability assays, western blot, qRT-PCR, flow cytometry, microscopy. He will also perform experiments with more complex models (tissue culture, 3D, organoids, cell co-cultures...).

Formation:

Degree in the area of Health Sciences or an equivalent qualification. A master's degree in experimental biomedical research will be positively valued.

Experience:

Experience in the tasks described above is required. It is essential to have been in a translational research group in oncology.

Knowledge:

Essential to have knowledge of laboratory techniques: cell culture, Western Blot and immunocytochemistry, PCR, flow cytometry, molecular biology techniques and other techniques to study cellular effects (viability, proliferation, apoptosis, migration, invasion, DNA damage). Fluent English and computer skills at Office and internet user level are required.

Additional information:

Demonstrated ability to work in research teams, mainly in translational research projects in oncology, will be valued. It's mandatory to have spent time and/or studied abroad. This subsidy may be co-financed by the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund, 'One way of making Europe'.
