Project title:

Molecular regulators of GABAergic systems that underlie comorbidities in Down syndrome

Research group / Service:

Neural computing laboratory group

Description:

The selected person will join the Neural computing laboratory group (Neurosciences research program).

Task:

Project design and execution: Formulation of relevant scientific questions and development of experimental strategies to address them. Experimental design optimization: Planning and execution of experiments, as well as rigorous analysis and interpretation of data to obtain solid conclusions. Coordination and mentoring: Supervision and support of students and researchers in training, promoting the development of scientific and technical skills. Management and collaboration: Facilitating a cooperative work environment, coordinating tasks within the research group and interacting with other teams to enhance knowledge transfer.

Formation:

PhD in neuroscience, biomedicine or related disciplines. Be in possession of a certificate of animal experimentation.

Experience:

Previous experience in experimental design and analysis of scientific data. Ability to work autonomously and in a team. Mentoring skills

Knowledge:

Good level of scientific communication in English.
