Description:

The selected person will join the Biomedical research in heart diseases group (Translational Clinical Research Program).

Task:

Recruitment of participants in observational and experimental studies linked to the research project "ACCLAIM Lp(a) Study" and other similar studies. Collection of prospective and retrospective research data. Database maintenance and quality control. Carrying out statistical analyses. Preparation and submission of abstracts of scientific papers to local, national and international conferences. Writing scientific manuscripts and submitting them to specialised journals. Support to the preventive cardiology consultations and the cardiac rehabilitation programme of the centre.

Formation:

Degree in medicine and medical specialty in cardiology, internal medicine, cardiac surgery, vascular surgery or primary care.

Experience:

Knowledge and clinical experience in cardiovascular risk and prevention and/or preventive cardiology is required. Experience in research would be an asset.

Knowledge:

User level knowledge of MS Office and MS Windows operating system. Advanced level of English.

Additional information:

Good interpersonal communication skills with participants in studies. Ability and predisposition for team work.
