This initiative, aimed at supporting people with mild to moderate depression, is being relaunched with new and improved features. The goal is to enhance both user experience and accessibility. The project is an initiative of the European Alliance Against Depression (EAAD), in collaboration with the Mental Health area of CIBER (CIBERSAM), and led by the Hospital del Mar Research Institute in Spain.
The iFightDepression® tool, an initiative of the European Alliance Against Depression (EAAD) in collaboration with the Mental Health area of CIBER (CIBERSAM), and led at the national level by the Mental Health Research Group at the Hospital del Mar Research Institute, has been updated to offer a better user experience and greater accessibility for its users. The initiative provides an upgraded and improved platform for individuals with mild to moderate depression.
The project's promoters are relaunching the tool with enhanced navigation adapted to different target groups, improved responsiveness across various devices, and upgraded tracking sheets designed for self-management. These features allow users to track symptoms, reframe negative thoughts, and understand the connection between sleep and mood. It also offers barrier-free access and enhanced data security. The update in Spain was led by the research group of Dr. Víctor Pérez at the Hospital del Mar Research Institute, with the participation of researchers Saiko Allende, Azucena Justicia, and María Jaramillo.
