Description:

The selected person will join the Integrative biomedical informatics research group (Biomedical informatics research program).

Task:

Updating and managing the IMASIS-2 database and OMOP CDM instances within the DARWIN EU project and related initiatives. Participation in the Data Unit of Hospital del Mar.

Formation:

Doctorate in the area of ​​Health Sciences or similar.

Experience:

Experience required in the management of biomedical data in a clinical setting, in biomedical standards and ontologies, and the participation and application of OHDSI-OMOP tools in the EHDEN, DARWIN EU European projects. International publications of impact.

Knowledge:

Design and management of biomedical databases, clinical data analysis using R and Python, advanced experience in using OMOP, ATLAS and HADES. Knowledge of the Catalan healthcare system and hospital electronic medical records (IMASIS will be particularly valued). Good communication and organizational skills and multidisciplinary work are essential. Languages: high level of English, Catalan, and Spanish.
